Centre for Ethics offers a vibrant and stimulating research environment in which a broad range of ethical topics are discussed. The Centre’s weekly seminars, various reading groups, the Centre Library, as well as the Conferences, Workshops and Intensive Seminars that the Centre organizes, make the Centre a productive place for short- or long-term research visits.
Part of the Centre’s mission is to promote key works in analytical ethics and make them accessible to the Czech readership. We hope to provide translations with which students of all levels can easily work and which will reach an intelligent non-academic readership as well.
We are working on four volumes of translated articles and two monographs:

Overview
Our library, primarily focused on Anglophone ethics, is an integral part of the Centre for Ethics. With 9000 different registered items, it is situated on the first floor in building G at the University of Pardubice campus.
Strategic partnerships
The project Centre for Ethics as Study in Human Value has two strategic partners. The strategic partnerships offer platform especially for exchange of visiting scholars and for students' mobility. Coorganising conferences is also envisaged, as well as collaboration on project activities.
