Lesley Jamieson joins ERC-CZ Self-Righteousness project team as postdoctoral researcher

We're pleased to announce that, after a robust job competition, Lesley Jamieson has been selected to join Professor John Lippitt's ERC-CZ project, "Combatting Self-Righteousness: A Vice of the Digital Age" as a postdoctoral researcher.

Lesley has been a reseacher and assistant professor at the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at UPCE since September 2022, publishing variously on topics such as Iris Murdoch's early philosophical writings, the philosophy of love, moral attention, and sentimentality. She hopes to bring her expertise in moral psychology to bear on topics central to this project, focusing on: the vice of cynicism and attributions of "moral grandstanding"; narcissism; and the deployment of diagnostic language in online criticism.

Congratulations to Lesley and the research team!
