Centre member Niklas Forsberg will present a paper at “The XIII Prague Interpretation Colloquium: Fiction and Pretense” at the Department of Analytic Philosophy, Institute of Philosophy, Czech Academy of Sciences. Forsberg’s talk focuses on Martha Nussbaum’s claim that by reading literature, one may learn what a particular way of like “feels like,” and explores the limitations of such forms of “empathetic readings” of literature.
